March 28th- April 4th

Our Chapter is facing a very troubling time. One of our sisters was in a serious car accident early Saturday Morning. We are happy to report that she is getting better. We ask everyone to keep our sister in your thoughts and prayers. As one of our Alumni stated on her Facebook Saturday; "It's times like this that show just how much sisters can care for one another in times of need, even when they are not blood related. Please keep my sorority sister Missy in your thoughts and prayers."

On a lighter note kick off to Autism Awareness Month was succesful. Last Thursday we all got together at the Alpha Xi Delta House and made blue Autism Awareness Pins. We made so many that we bought all the plain Blue Ribbon in Oshkosh and have to wait to make more!

On Saturday some of our sister's attended the Buck's Game and help to promote Autism Awareness. Afterwards they got to watch a very exciting game. The Buck's won in overtime!

Saturday was also the All Greek Habbitat for Humanity Build. All the Greek organizations got down and dirty helping to put the finishing touches on a house for a deserving family.

The Alpha Xi Deltas also attended Titanology: Linking ways on Tuesday, March 29th. Check out UW Oshkosh's Advance Titan article on the series: http://www.advancetitan.com/news/titanology-encourages-collaboration-1.2134867.

Sunday, April 3rd we held our weekly chapter meeting and afterwards we had our Big sis reval! After a long week of recieving gifts from their annomous big sister I know the ladies were VERY excited to find out who their big sister was. Check out our Facebook (Alpha Xi Delta UW-Oshkosh) to see photos.

Events to look forward to this week:

Thursday, April 7th at 6pm we will be having a Mary Kay Sisterhood event at the house! The event begins at 6pm and is open to any women who are considering joining a sorority. Also, Thursday is our second Titanology from 6pm-8pm! "Dining Dos and Don'ts". I'm really excited about it because for the college of business we have to attend Dining with Professionals and my table skills could most certainly use some work! Anyone is welcome if interested sign up in the SLIC.

Saturday, April 8th is our ROSE FORMAL! I can't wait to see all my beautiful sisters in their dresses. :)
And in the morning Hands on Oshkosh! Which is such a great time I would definitely recommend signing up! Also,  our new members have EGLI a leadership workshop for all new Greek members!

Xi Love,
The Delta Tau Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta
